Grocery Associate

Role overview

As a Grocery Associate with Walmart Canada in Selkirk, Manitoba, you’ll support the grocery department by delivering strong customer service, keeping the sales floor organized, and helping ensure products are stocked, priced, and ready for customers. Key duties

• Keep the grocery department zoned and organized.
• Rotate inventory and remove items that are past their expiry date.
• Make sure products are correctly labeled, signed, and priced.
• Follow food safety, food handling, sanitation, and cleaning standards.
• Carry out ordering, clearance, markdowns, markups, pricing, labeling, and signage processes correctly.
• Maintain a fully stocked department that is ready for customers and store operations.
• Observe health and safety requirements at all times.
• Restock merchandise, downstock when needed, apply product protection where required, and complete modular sets, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.

Pay information

The minimum starting wage for this position is $16.15 per hour.
