About the role

Vertexcover Labs is a compact AI engineering studio of six people, and this position is for someone who can operate with a founder’s mindset. The team builds production-grade AI systems such as multi-agent workflows, AI video pipelines, and RAG solutions for clients including Dunzo, Arintra, usemadmen.ai, Springworks, invideo.ai, and rephrase.ai (now part of Adobe).

This is an operations and growth role, not a software engineering position. You will not be expected to write production code or train AI models. Instead, you will create the business systems that keep the engineering bench filled and the client pipeline moving, using AI tools as a multiplier. Since the role is being shaped from scratch, you will help define it as you go.

What you will build

  • Talent engine: Create AI-assisted sourcing systems to identify strong engineers early, maintain a structured CRM, and run outreach workflows that convert. Your work should keep the engineering pipeline consistently supplied.
  • Sales engine: Build AI-driven workflows to find, research, and qualify companies that are facing technical bottlenecks. Prepare detailed research briefs before outreach, maintain pipeline discipline, and track conversions to support revenue growth.
  • Content engine: Convert internal execution into public content that attracts inbound interest. Turn operational workflows into reusable frameworks and document the team’s AI tools and playbooks so the work itself becomes visible externally.

You may use Claude, GPT-based agents, n8n, custom scripts, or any other tools that help you move faster. The goal is not to build an AI product, but to use AI to create operational leverage.

Who this is for

  • Professionals with roughly 1 to 3 years of experience in high-ownership roles such as operations, growth, sourcing, business development, or a founder’s office, and who already use AI tools regularly.
