About the Role
FedEx is seeking a dedicated Dispatch Agent to manage cross-border trucking operations and ensure the timely and accurate completion of dispatching tasks for heavy-weight shipments. This role involves overseeing on-road operations and ensuring adherence to all relevant internal and external standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and resolving operational anomalies, escalating complex issues when necessary, and maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage dispatch operations for cross-border trucking, with a focus on heavy-weight shipments.
- Monitor and control on-road trucking activities to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
- Execute defined processes and procedures accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Ensure all dispatch activities comply with company standards and relevant regulations.
- Identify and address any operational discrepancies or issues that arise during the dispatch process.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve operational challenges based on established guidelines.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior team members or management.
