Data Insights Analyst (Entry / Junior)

Role overview

We are seeking an early-career Data Insights Analyst who is naturally curious, detail-focused, and comfortable working with data. The role is centered on turning raw information into practical insights that can inform business choices, streamline operations, and surface growth opportunities.

You will partner with business stakeholders, operations teams, and managers to examine data, build reports and dashboards, and deliver recommendations that support strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, cleanse, verify, and analyze information from several business data sources.
• Build and update reports, dashboards, and visual materials that help teams make decisions.
• Track important performance metrics and highlight trends, patterns, and potential opportunities.
• Turn analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Handle ad hoc reporting tasks and business intelligence requests as needed.
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting outputs and systems.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and analytical expectations.
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Use data-based analysis to support process improvement efforts.
• Keep up to date with analytics tools, reporting platforms, and current best practices.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar discipline.
• Strong ability to think analytically and solve problems effectively.
• Comfort using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Basic understanding of SQL and database fundamentals.
• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar visualization tools is beneficial.
• Working knowledge of statistical concepts and how to interpret data.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Good verbal and written communication, including presentation skills.
• Ability to work on your own as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Previous internship exposure, academic projects, or hands-on analytics experience is an added advantage.
