Data Annotator

Role overview

WeRide is seeking a Data Annotator to support the preparation of high-quality datasets for AI and machine learning projects in the United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will help ensure that large volumes of multimodal data are accurately tagged and kept consistent with project requirements.

What you'll do

• Label and classify large datasets with precision across text, audio, image, and video formats.
• Check existing annotations and make corrections where needed to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Coordinate with AI and Machine Learning teams to understand the specific rules and standards for each project.
• Share observations and suggestions that can help improve the annotation workflow.
• Work toward daily and weekly output goals while keeping quality at a high standard.

Requirements

• Strong command of English at B2 level or higher.
• Comfortable using a computer and common web-based tools.
• Able to follow detailed guidelines and adjust quickly when project needs change.
• Previous exposure to data annotation or a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Hands-on experience in data annotation is required.
