Position Summary
The organization is looking for a seasoned Data Analyst who can work closely with business teams to build, deliver, and support analytics solutions that improve decision-making. In this role, you will turn complex datasets into practical insights through analysis, reporting, visualization, and cross-functional partnership. Success in this position requires a mix of technical depth and the ability to explain findings clearly to business users.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business partners to understand goals, challenges, and analytical requirements.
- Collect business needs, interpret them, and convert them into data-focused solutions and project plans.
- Drive analytics work from initial requirement discovery through deployment and final delivery.
- Act as a domain expert on analytics efforts and wider strategic initiatives across teams.
- Pull together structured and unstructured data from several systems, then integrate and validate it.
- Check data for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and overall reliability through thorough validation steps.
- Support risk and performance analytics as the main point of contact for the assigned business areas.
- Examine historical and live data to surface trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities using advanced analysis methods.
- Evaluate analytical methods and outputs created by other analysts to confirm quality and correctness.
- Build and present dashboards, reports, visual summaries, and presentations that convert complex findings into clear recommendations.
- Develop, maintain, and improve recurring reporting workflows and analytical tools.
- Document analytics processes, standards, and best practices so they can be used consistently.
- Keep building knowledge of the business and analytics space, and share learnings with the team.
- Assist with special assignments and other tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar role in analytics, business intelligence, or reporting.
- A bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, or a related discipline; comparable education and experience may also be accepted.
- Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders, collect requirements, and deliver analytical solutions.
- Understanding of risk analysis and performance analysis practices.
- Experience organizing and prioritizing work based on business impact and value.
- Hands-on Tableau experience is mandatory, including dashboard creation, reporting, and visual storytelling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Power BI for business intelligence and reporting.
- Strong command of SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Ability to use Python for analysis, automation, or reporting support.
- Well-developed analytical thinking, problem-solving, and presentation abilities.
- Comfort explaining technical findings to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
