About the Role
Rudolf Fritz GmbH is seeking a Cost Estimator (m/f/d) to join their team in Rüsselsheim. This role involves the independent creation of competitive and economically viable offers based on inquiries, specifications, or functional descriptions. You will be responsible for obtaining and evaluating supplier bids, collaborating with clients and planning offices, and following up on offers until an order is secured. Participation in contract negotiations is also part of the role.
Responsibilities
- Independently prepare competitive and economically sound offers based on customer inquiries, specifications, or functional descriptions.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations according to specifications.
- Collaborate with customers, planning offices, and other stakeholders on an order-oriented basis.
- Follow up on submitted offers to secure orders.
- Participate in contract award discussions.
Qualifications
- Completed commercial or technical apprenticeship with electrical engineering knowledge; career changers and re-trainers are welcome.
- Experience in the calculation of electrical distribution systems is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and Streit V1 is beneficial.
- Interest in a responsible position.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Team player with flexibility.
