The governance, risk, and compliance practice focuses on helping clients meet rising regulatory expectations, improve transparency, and strengthen business and process controls.Role SummaryThis position is for a technical consultant with solid end-to-end experience in real estate, construction, and infrastructure projects. The role calls for practical exposure to project execution, technical review, and site audits, along with strong knowledge of construction methods and project delivery. It combines engineering expertise, project coordination, analytical problem-solving, and the ability to support technical decisions that affect quality, cost, and timelines.What You Will DoLead and coordinate real estate and construction assignments from the planning stage through completion.Carry out technical inspections, site audits, and quality reviews at different phases of the project.Assess drawings, BOQs, project designs, and technical specifications for accuracy and feasibility.Track compliance with construction standards, safety requirements, and local building regulations.Spot technical risks early and recommend practical actions to reduce project issues.Work closely with architects, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to keep execution aligned.Review project schedules, budget considerations, and execution quality on an ongoing basis.Contribute technical inputs to feasibility studies and project planning exercises.Draft detailed reports covering audit observations, technical findings, and suggested improvements.Support value engineering efforts and initiatives aimed at cost efficiency.Skills and CompetenciesStrong grasp of construction methods and the full real estate project lifecycle.Practical experience in site execution and technical audits.Understanding of materials, structural systems, and finishing quality standards.Awareness of approval processes, compliance obligations, and regulatory requirements.Ability to interpret technical drawings and project documents accurately.Good judgement, analytical thinking, and structured problem-solving ability.Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.QualificationsA bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech – Civil) is mandatory or preferred, and an MBA in Construction Management, Real Estate, or Project Management is also listed as a qualification.Preferred ExperienceBackground with real estate developers, construction companies, or project management consultancies.Exposure to residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.Prior work in technical consulting or advisory assignments will be considered an advantage.CompensationCompensation will be aligned with market standards.
