Role overview
Amey is hiring a permanent Cleaner for HMYOI Werrington, Ash Bank Road, Werrington, Stoke-on-Trent ST9 0DX. The post sits within a Ministry of Justice facilities management account, supporting His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service by helping to keep secure sites clean, safe, and operating efficiently.
The annual salary for this position is £27,426. The working pattern is 39 hours per week, arranged on a rota between 06:00 and 14:00, Monday to Friday.
Key duties
- Deliver cleaning services in line with the contract’s required standards.
- Monitor stock and place orders for cleaning consumables when needed.
- Use cleaning equipment and machinery safely and according to the training and instructions provided.
- Maintain a consistently high level of service for building users and support customer satisfaction.

Clearance and eligibility notes
