What the Role Involves

Your main responsibility will be to keep the pub spotless and presentable at all times so that guests enjoy a high standard of cleanliness throughout their visit.

• Clean all customer-facing areas, toilets, the bar, kitchen, staff spaces, and outdoor areas.
• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties in line with standard operating procedures.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
• Track cleaning stock levels and inform the manager when supplies need replenishing.
• Escalate any maintenance concerns or pest control issues to the manager on duty.
• Greet customers courteously and interact in a polite, professional manner.
• Take part in induction, job-specific, and ongoing refresher training, while supporting continuous improvement.
