The Opportunity
An opportunity is available for dependable and enthusiastic cleaners to join the team in Helensvale, Queensland. The role suits someone who works well in a busy setting, notices details carefully, and takes pride in keeping client spaces tidy and inviting.
This is a part-time onsite position with shifts available across weekdays and weekends. The role is paid in line with the relevant award wage.
Roster
Expected shifts include morning-to-afternoon coverage on Monday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day cleaning tasks to a consistently high standard.
- Carry out spot cleaning on furnishings as needed.
- Complete sweeping and mopping tasks.
- Clean toilets and amenities.
- Collect and dispose of rubbish.
- Wash glass surfaces, both inside and outside.
- Dust hard surfaces thoroughly.
About You
- Previous cleaning experience, particularly in a commercial setting, is preferred.
- You should be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- A current Police Check is required, or you must be willing to obtain one.
- You need to be comfortable following directions and also working independently.
- High attention to detail is essential.
- Strong customer service ability is important.
- You must be dependable and punctual.
- You should have a sound understanding of work health and safety practices.
- You must be able to work flexible hours, including public holidays when needed.
- Experience using floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers would be an advantage.
