Overview
This is a project-based opportunity for biology professionals who can use Python to help test, assess, and refine AI systems for major technology companies. The engagement is not a permanent job; instead, contributors join individual projects and work on assigned tasks for the duration of each project.

What you may work on
Depending on the project, your tasks may include creating original computational biology challenges that mirror real research workflows, building Python-based problems with libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and BioPython, and making sure the tasks are computationally demanding enough that they cannot be solved manually in a short time.
You may also be asked to develop problems that require careful multi-step reasoning in areas such as bioinformatics, systems biology, and molecular modeling, draw inspiration from practical biology research use cases, validate answers using Python and standard computational biology tools, and write clear problem statements with verified solutions.
Profile sought
This role is intended for biology specialists with Python experience who are interested in part-time, non-permanent project work. A background in biology or a closely related discipline is preferred, along with strong written English and the ability to work with biological data and computational methods.
How the process works
