Aeon Meditec (India) Pvt Ltd is based in Chennai and manufactures medical equipment with a strong focus on advanced ophthalmic laser technologies. Since its establishment in July 2011, the company has been building precision instruments that support eye care specialists, especially in retina and glaucoma treatment.

Role Overview

The Account Assistant will support day-to-day accounting operations by accurately recording transactions, maintaining vouchers and ledgers, and helping ensure that financial records remain complete and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter routine financial transactions into the accounting system on a daily basis.
• Prepare and track purchase, sales, cash, and journal vouchers.
• Check accounting records to confirm they are accurate and fully documented.
• Update and maintain both the general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Working knowledge of accounting concepts and practices.
• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime, Microsoft Excel, and MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and standard banking processes.
• Strong numerical ability and analytical thinking.
• Careful attention to detail while handling records.
• Ability to manage time well and stay organized.
• Clear communication skills.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a B.Com degree in any specialization.

Compensation

The offered pay is INR 1,50,000 to 2,00,000 per year.
