Role Overview

Seniors Prefer Homecare is looking for a weekend-available caregiver to support clients in Huntsville, Alabama. The position offers flexible scheduling and may be arranged as part-time or full-time depending on need.

Schedule

This role is focused on weekend shifts and comes with flexible hours.

Key Duties

• Assist clients with everyday living activities.
• Provide transportation support when needed.
• Offer medication reminders.
• Handle light housekeeping tasks.
• Assist with light personal care.
• Support home assistance needs such as running errands, accompanying clients to appointments, preparing meals, buying groceries, and helping with general daily living needs.
• Help with personal care tasks including toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming.
• Provide companionship through conversation, encouragement, and attentive support.

Candidate Requirements

• Applicants should be able to pass a drug screening.
• A successful background check is required.
• Reliable transportation is necessary.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Preferred education level is a high school diploma.
• Candidates must be able to complete a criminal background report.
• The job may require lifting up to 25 pounds at a time.
• The role involves reaching, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
