Warehouse Specialist

Job Summary

KEDA Ceramics is seeking a meticulous and well-organized Warehouse Specialist to help manage warehouse activities and inventory control in an FMCG setting. The role focuses on keeping stock records accurate, coordinating warehouse flow, supporting audits, and ensuring the warehouse runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Join daily morning meetings to go over issues from the previous day’s operations and suggest ways to improve processes.
• Work with Receiving and Issuing Officers to validate stock coming into and leaving the warehouse.
• Keep physical inventory aligned with system and ledger records, with no unexplained variances.
• Assist the Stock Audit Officer during audits and stock verification activities.
• Apply and sustain 6S standards across the warehouse.
• Perform stock counts on a daily and monthly basis.
• Track stock movements and keep warehouse documentation updated and accurate.
• Make sure materials are stored correctly and the warehouse remains well arranged.
• Compile inventory and operational reports when needed.
• Handle any additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
• Prior work experience as a Warehouse Specialist, Storekeeper, or Inventory Officer in an FMCG environment.
• Solid knowledge of warehouse processes and inventory control.
• Familiarity with stock reconciliation and warehouse audit methods.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management systems.
• Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and a collaborative working style.
• Honesty, accountability, and a high level of integrity.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of 6S or 5S warehouse practices.
• Sharp attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Ability to stay effective under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good analytical thinking and report-writing skills.
