Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. This role involves leading the design and analysis of various structural components, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in structural engineering software and a deep understanding of relevant codes and regulations. This is an onsite position requiring a B.E/B.Tech degree and 5-17 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and analysis of foundations, steel structures, and concrete structures.
• Develop detailed structural engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Prepare and review civil engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (ACI, AISC, etc.).
• Conduct site investigations, assessments, and feasibility studies.
• Oversee the design and detailing of structural components, including supports, frames, and foundations.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve interface issues.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies, and constructability reviews.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation activities.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design documents and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project management to ensure timely delivery of engineering tasks.

Requirements

• Proficiency in civil and structural engineering software such as STAAD-Pro, SAP2000, and ETABS.
• Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering codes and standards, including ACI and AISC.
• Experience in the design of industrial structures, particularly within chemical and oil and gas plant environments.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification is preferred.
