Store Supervisor

About the Opportunity

This role sits within a rapidly expanding retail and import/export business serving customers across the UAE. The company focuses on distributing quality consumer products through retail outlets and supply channels, with stores acting as key touchpoints for customer experience, service quality, and operational discipline. The business is looking for a hands-on Store Supervisor who can manage day-to-day store activities, strengthen team output, and support sales performance in a busy retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the store’s daily routines, including opening and closing checks, cash management, stock verification, and adherence to visual merchandising standards.
• Guide, train, and roster frontline team members so service standards remain high, SOPs are followed, and sales activities are executed consistently.
• Keep track of inventory, work with warehouse and logistics teams on replenishment, and reduce shrinkage through regular audits and loss-prevention controls.
• Help the store achieve or surpass daily and weekly sales goals by promoting offers, encouraging upselling, and actively engaging customers.
• Handle customer issues quickly and professionally, escalating concerns when necessary to protect service quality and brand image.
• Prepare end-of-day sales summaries, monitor performance indicators, and share observations and improvement suggestions with management.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of retail store operations
• Ability to lead and coordinate a frontline team
• Experience managing stock and inventory movement
• Comfort using POS systems
• Customer-facing service skills
• Sales tracking and target monitoring
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with loss-prevention practices
• Experience with retail ERP platforms is an advantage
• Arabic language ability is preferred
• Understanding of UAE retail licensing or trade license processes is preferred
