Role overview
Guzman y Gomez is built on bold Mexican-inspired flavours and the idea that great food can bring people together. As the Restaurant Manager for the Perth location, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the restaurant each day. The position calls for a hands-on leader who can coach and develop the team, oversee financial performance, uphold operating standards, and make sure every part of the venue reflects the GYG way.
What you will do
- Take ownership of day-to-day restaurant operations.
- Coach, train, and support the team to perform at a high level.
- Manage restaurant profit and loss performance.
- Maintain strong quality standards across food, service, and operations.
- Follow company procedures and ensure they are applied consistently.
- Lead in a way that reflects the culture and values of GYG.

Candidate profile
We welcome applicants with varied backgrounds, but the ideal person will bring proven leadership experience in a busy, high-energy environment, along with strong commercial and financial judgement. You should be able to spot sales and P&L opportunities, work with the team on practical improvements, consistently achieve KPIs, deliver excellent customer service, and communicate clearly with others.
