Raw Materials Operator - Day Shift

An opening is available for a Raw Materials Operator to join the Smith’s Snackfood Company on the day shift at Regency Park.

Work schedule and hiring process

• Work location: Regency Park, South Australia
• Shift pattern: Day shift, Monday to Thursday from 6:00am to 2:30pm, and Friday from 6:00am to 12:00 noon
• Employment type: Full-time
• Recruitment steps: phone conversation, interview, online testing, background checks, pre-employment medical checks, and final decision

Key duties

• Operate forklifts, including high reach and counterbalance units, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience
• Handle order picking, wrapping, palletising, and the movement of incoming and outgoing materials
• Support warehouse and inventory control activities
• Check incoming goods records and complete basic documentation
• Assist with basic oil tank farm work, including unloading liquid and grain bulk carriers
• Take part in audits and inspections
• Carry out cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas

What you need

• A valid forklift licence backed by practical workplace experience
• Comfort using computers
• Ability to manage multiple tasks safely and in an organised way
• Good communication skills, including reading and numerical understanding
• Legal right to work in Australia
