Role overview
This position sits within the Consumer Goods Division and focuses on helping ensure that products such as apparel, footwear, toys, baby products, electronics, appliances, and furniture meet required quality and ethical standards. The Operations team is responsible for delivering services to clients while maintaining QIMA’s quality expectations.
What you will do
- Review incoming emails each day to collect inspection instructions and related documents.
- Arrive on time for inspections and maintain a professional line of communication with suppliers.
- Carry out merchandise inspections according to company methods and oversee container stuffing in line with internal procedures.
- Prepare inspection reports within the required timelines and according to company standards.
Required background
The ideal candidate should hold a college degree or higher in apparel or a related discipline. A background of more than 5 years in quality management is needed, along with familiarity with AQL standards and applicable safety and quality regulations. Strong written and spoken English, careful attention to detail, and high professional ethics are essential.
