Project Manager

Role overview

This position is for a Project Manager based in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The work environment is varied, with each assignment differing in scope, location, and complexity. Safety is a core priority across every project, and the role is focused on delivering work safely, efficiently, and successfully.

Key accountabilities

• Apply both technical project management expertise and strong interpersonal skills to lead assignments effectively.
• Direct the core activities tied to planning, communication, decision-making, management, and execution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Take ownership of contract-related tasks, risk management, project readiness, implementation, and overall project control.
• Manage projects of increasing size and complexity as capability is demonstrated.
• Support delivery of international and global projects when required, with assignment durations that may range from a few days to several years.

Required background

• Advanced knowledge of project management, including preparation, quality, structures, planning, risk control, contracts, budgeting and finance, interviewing practices, execution, leadership, teamwork, communication, conflict handling, and negotiation.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a qualification in Project Management.
• Demonstrated practical knowledge of project management principles, methods, and tools.
• 7 to 10 years of successful experience as a Project Manager, ideally in heavy lifting, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports, or mining.
• Strong leadership ability with a track record of guiding and motivating cross-functional teams.
• Solid financial understanding and experience handling project budgets.
• Willingness to travel and work across different project sites based on business needs.
