Role Overview
DotLynx is hiring an experienced Process Manager for Testing & Commissioning on a major Sewage Treatment Plant project in Qatar. This is a senior leadership position focused on guiding the full commissioning cycle, from safe initial start-up through process stabilization, performance validation, and final transfer to operations.
What You’ll Lead
- Steer all end-to-end commissioning activities for the sewage treatment plant.
- Support safe plant start-up and confirm the system is ready for operation.
- Drive process stabilization and performance testing until handover is achieved.
- Coordinate the transition of the plant from commissioning to operations.
Candidate Profile
The ideal professional will bring a strong background in wastewater treatment plant testing and commissioning, along with hands-on experience in biological treatment systems and plant start-up. Experience on EPC or Design & Build projects is required, and exposure to GCC projects is preferred. Candidates should also have worked on large municipal or industrial wastewater treatment facilities.
Technical Scope
- Commissioning and start-up of wastewater treatment plants.
- Biological treatment technologies including ASP, MBR, MBBR, and SBR.
- Sludge handling activities such as thickening, digestion, and dewatering.
- Tertiary treatment methods including filtration, UV, and chlorination.
- Use of PLC, SCADA, instrumentation, and automation systems.
- Reading and applying process flow diagrams (PFDs) and P&IDs.
- Preparation and execution of commissioning procedures, ITPs, and system checklists.
- Performance testing, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
