About the Role
NESTT is a lifestyle destination built around play, learning, creativity, wellbeing, and community. The team is hiring a Play Facilitator to design and run engaging experiences for children, with a focus on workshops, sensory activities, and educational play.
Role Overview
In this position, you will guide structured play-based sessions that encourage children to explore, create, and learn in a safe and uplifting setting. The work includes sensory exploration, edible workshops, creative activities, and themed learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sensory, educational, and creative workshops for children.
- Run activities such as sensory play, edible experiences, arts and crafts, STEM sessions, and themed learning programs.
- Help support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth through structured play.
- Set up, arrange, and care for workshop materials and activity stations.
- Maintain a secure, tidy, and inviting space for children and families.
- Assist with birthday parties, community gatherings, seasonal events, and special activations.
- Develop positive connections with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Act as a representative of NESTT’s values and focus on excellent guest experiences.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working with children between 0 and 10 years old.
- Prior exposure to schools, nurseries, early learning centres, enrichment programs, camps, museums, activity centres, or similar settings.
- A background in Early Childhood Education, Teaching, Child Development, Psychology, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience leading workshops, group activities, or educational programs.
- Good knowledge of child development and learning through play.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- A creative, energetic, nurturing, and highly organized approach.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are beneficial.
- First Aid and Child Safeguarding certifications are considered an advantage.
