Package Handler (Warehouse-like)

About the role

FedEx Canada is looking for a Package Handler to support warehouse-style freight handling at its Kamloops, British Columbia facility. The role focuses on moving cargo efficiently through the site while helping keep shipments organized and processed on schedule.

Key duties

• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Scan incoming and outgoing freight as it moves through the facility.
• Sort cargo within the site to support accurate processing and flow.
• Complete other tasks assigned as needed.

Skills, knowledge and abilities

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian customs rules is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to complete all required initial and recurring training successfully.
• Comfort working in a Windows/PC environment.
• Capability to maintain required annual accreditations when applicable.

Physical requirements

This position requires the ability to lift up to 70 lb and handle parcels weighing as much as 150 lb when the proper equipment is used.

Work schedule and availability

Work availability is Monday to Saturday, from 05:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Hours may vary depending on business needs.
