Kodiak Robotics, Inc., established in 2018, focuses on autonomous ground transportation with the goal of making freight movement safer and more efficient. Its AI-driven technology is built specifically for commercial trucking and public-sector use. The company ships freight every day for customers across the southern United States using autonomous systems. In 2024, Kodiak became the first known company to publicly state that it had delivered a driverless semi-truck to a customer. It also applies its self-driving software to develop, test, and deploy autonomous capabilities for the U.S. Department of Defense.

Role Overview

Kodiak is hiring a CDL-licensed Fleet Operations Trainer who can perform well in a fast-moving, changing environment and contribute to building a strong autonomy training program. This position is based in Lancaster, Texas, with limited travel required.

What You Will Do

• Design, roll out, and review training programs that support company objectives and keep safety at the center.
• Evaluate training needs, create supporting materials, and organize training sessions.
• Work with the Training Manager to spot future learning needs and improve programs over time.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training for specific departments and ongoing learning needs.
• Keep training documentation up to date and support a workplace culture that values continuous learning.
• Stay fully proficient across operational roles and deliver training as needed.

Requirements

• Background in training and development work.
• Solid knowledge of adult learning methods and principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with good organization.
• Hands-on experience using an LMS and related training tools.
• Ability to plan work, manage time well, and handle multiple priorities.
• At least 3 years of recent, verifiable Class A CDL driving experience.
• A valid CDL is mandatory.
