Role Overview
This position is focused on bringing greater central control, lower operating costs, and stronger execution across facilities-related activities. The role covers transport, cafeteria, housekeeping, and infrastructure projects, with an emphasis on vendor standardization, cost optimization, and governance across locations.
Responsibilities
- Set common vendor standards across sites for core services such as transport, cafeteria, and housekeeping.
- Reduce redundancy by simplifying and consolidating the vendor ecosystem.
- Handle centralized buying and negotiate rates to capture scale benefits.
- Spot process gaps and implement improvements that raise efficiency.
- Create and roll out cost benchmarks for facilities services.
- Plan annual savings initiatives and monitor the benefits achieved.
- Strengthen budgeting and forecasting using data-backed analysis.
- Control spend while maintaining service quality.
- Lead office projects from start to finish, including new setups and refurbishments.
- Oversee schedules, budgets, vendor output, and quality expectations.
- Work closely with HR, IT, Admin, and leadership teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulatory obligations.
- Build and implement uniform SOPs across all locations.
- Improve vendor governance, contract discipline, and SLA compliance.
- Ensure adherence to statutory rules, safety norms, and company policies.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools that give leadership clear visibility.
- Serve as the main coordination hub for facilities initiatives.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand needs and provide solutions.
- Review vendor performance and manage ongoing relationships.
