The role
Wharerangi Village in Taupō is seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant to support its committed team.
What you’ll be doing
- Helping with food preparation and day-to-day kitchen tasks
- Supporting the healthcare team while meals are served to residents
- Providing a high standard of customer service with a strong focus on quality
- Continuously building your knowledge and improving your skills
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience in a comparable position
- Genuine enthusiasm for preparing food that looks appealing and tastes excellent
- Background in delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and manage time well
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and clear communication skills
- Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
- Comfort working to established cleaning routines
- Availability to work rostered shifts
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
