Junior Facilities Engineer - Mechanical with GCC Experience

Job Overview

We are hiring a Junior Facilities Engineer specializing in Mechanical systems for a well-known Shopping Mall and Accommodation Management company based in Doha, Qatar. This role demands hands-on experience within the GCC region and offers a competitive monthly salary range of 4000 to 4500 QAR, inclusive of company-provided accommodation and transportation. The exact salary will depend on interview performance.

Core Responsibilities and Expertise

• Manage and maintain building systems such as MEP, HVAC, Fire Alarm, and BMS within residential or commercial properties.
• Implement both preventive and reactive maintenance strategies to ensure operational efficiency.
• Utilize CAFM or CMMS software to track maintenance activities (beneficial but not mandatory).
• Flexibly extend working hours when required to meet operational needs.

Mandatory Requirements

• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in mechanical facilities engineering, specifically within FM companies involved in residential properties, shopping malls, or consultancy firms with exposure to the Qatar or wider GCC market.
• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Currently residing in Qatar with a valid Qatar ID and NOC, or if abroad, must have direct Qatar/GCC market experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and AutoCAD.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written, with a professional appearance.
• Valid Qatar driving license is desirable but not compulsory.

Additional Notes

The candidate must be locally present or willing to relocate to Qatar and should be adaptable to occasional overtime hours as needed to ensure smooth operations.
