About the role

The Perth team is looking for an eager Draftsperson to join on a part-time arrangement of 3 days per week, or 22.5 hours weekly. The role could suit someone returning to work, or someone who needs flexibility around study, family, or other commitments.

This position offers the chance to work with experienced engineers and drafters on real project outputs while building practical capability in geotechnical and environmental drafting. You will be supported through mentoring, day-to-day learning, and exposure to work across infrastructure, mining, energy, and land development projects. The company is also open to partnering with educational institutes to connect with students who are dependable, motivated, and keen to begin a drafting career in a consultancy setting.

Key responsibilities

• Support engineers and drafters in preparing technical drawings and related documentation.
• Assist with drafting outputs for geotechnical and environmental projects.
• Help project teams deliver work across sectors such as infrastructure, mining, and land development.
• Maintain accuracy and quality so outputs meet company expectations.
• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

About you

• You are currently studying, or have already completed, drafting or a similar field at TAFE level or an equivalent qualification.
• You pay close attention to detail and are willing to learn.
• You communicate well and bring a proactive approach.
• You are dependable, motivated, and interested in gaining hands-on industry experience.
• You can organise your time well while managing study or other personal commitments.
