Role overview
This is a remote leadership role for a sales professional in Ireland who is motivated by growth, team development, and commercial results. You will guide an inside sales function that turns inbound interest into loyal customers, while helping shape sales strategy, improving workflow efficiency, and building a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Key accountabilities
- Direct, coach, and develop an inside sales team so that targets and performance goals are consistently met and exceeded.
- Hire, welcome, train, and mentor new team members to set them up for long-term success and progression.
- Track, analyse, and report on core sales metrics, using data-led insights to improve productivity and effectiveness.
- Work closely with marketing, customer success, and sales leadership to strengthen lead handling, pipeline growth, and customer engagement.
- Maintain strong sales activity across inbound opportunities and ensure prospects experience a smooth, professional buying journey.
- Oversee team processes, workflows, and CRM usage to protect pipeline accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Run regular coaching discussions, performance reviews, and development plans to lift individual and team output.
- Spot process gaps and operational improvements that support scale and sustained revenue growth.
- Share learnings, trends, and best practices with leadership to improve sales execution and overall business performance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years in sales management, plus a minimum of 6 years of overall sales experience.
- A strong record of leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams in quota-based environments.
- Background in B2B sales; SaaS experience is a clear advantage.
- Proven ability to recruit, onboard, and ramp sales hires to productivity and quota attainment.
- Strong command of CRM tools and sales workflow management, with Salesforce or similar platforms preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Good analytical and strategic thinking skills, supported by a data-driven approach to decisions.
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership capability with a clear focus on talent development.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, changing environment, including with remote and distributed teams.
- A high sense of ownership, accountability, integrity, and commitment to measurable outcomes.
