About the role

Crothall Healthcare is hiring full-time Housekeepers for its assignment at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Easton, Pennsylvania. This role is based on-site at 3780 Hecktown Road, Easton, PA 18045, and applications are accepted online only.

The schedule runs Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays. Working hours are 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, and additional schedule details will be shared during the interview. The pay rate for this position is $17.75 per hour.

Job summary

The housekeeper is responsible for performing light cleaning work to keep healthcare and other facilities neat, sanitary, and well organized. Typical tasks include making beds, replacing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.

Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, one-on-one customer service with a focus on detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors as needed.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture, fittings, and surfaces.
• Clean metal fixtures and other installed fittings.
• Empty trash containers and clean them properly.
• Dispose of waste in a sanitary and compliant manner.
• Clean sinks, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass and other transparent surfaces.
• Make beds and replace linens when required.
• Restore furniture and amenities to the designated layout.
• Respond promptly to guest questions and service requests.
• Handle housekeeping issues such as spills and broken glass.
• Work cooperatively with teammates and maintain a professional approach with customers and colleagues.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Ability to carry out essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to work a full-time schedule including rotating weekends and holidays.
• Availability for the stated evening shift.
• For some positions, a Florida Level 2 background screening may be required.
• Compliance with the company’s drug-free workplace policy.
