Role overview

A growing business in County Meath is looking for a Finance Analyst to join its team in a newly established position. The role offers direct exposure to senior leadership and the chance to influence strategic decisions by translating financial data into practical commercial insight.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and keep updated strong financial models that support business planning and decision-making.
• Carry out scenario modelling, assess investments, and prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and wider financial planning activities across the company.
• Produce monthly and quarterly management reports that highlight key commercial takeaways.
• Review financial results, including margin trends and variance movements, to inform decisions.
• Create dashboards and reporting solutions that improve visibility of core performance metrics.
• Work with stakeholders across the organisation to support commercial projects and process enhancements.
• Take part in additional projects as the business expands.

What we’re looking for

• Professional accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Background in a Finance Analyst, Commercial Finance, FP&A, or comparable analytical finance position.
• Proven experience in financial modelling.
• Hands-on exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
• Experience with WIP analysis would be a strong advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with the confidence to explain financial information to non-finance colleagues.
• A proactive, commercially aware mindset and an interest in contributing to a fast-moving, expanding business.
