Role Overview

The Executive, People & Culture will support and manage a broad range of HR functions across compensation and benefits, performance management, analytics, employee relations, compliance, culture, engagement, and talent acquisition. The position partners closely with the Senior Manager, People & Culture and contributes to both day-to-day HR operations and longer-term people strategy.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Take ownership of the design, upkeep, and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Help maintain pay practices that are equitable and competitive in the market.
  • Administer employee benefits such as health coverage, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and related offerings.
  • Ensure benefits changes, enrollments, claims, and terminations are processed accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate with benefits providers and brokers to address issues and support smooth service delivery.
  • Run benefits briefing and orientation sessions for employees.
  • Keep complete and accurate documentation for all compensation and benefits activities.
  • Act as a contact point for employee questions about pay and benefits.
  • Support the Senior Manager, People & Culture with compensation and benefits matters.
  • Prepare reports and analyze data to aid planning and decision-making.

Performance Management

  • Build and roll out performance appraisal frameworks and mid-year review processes.
  • Encourage ongoing feedback and development conversations across teams.
  • Create succession planning approaches that help maintain leadership continuity.

HR Analytics and Reporting

  • Apply HR metrics and workforce data to guide decisions.
  • Produce recurring reports on HR trends and key measures for the leadership team.
  • Improve HR operations by using insights drawn from data.

Employee Relations and Compliance

  • Handle employee relations matters and support conflict resolution when needed.
  • Keep HR practices aligned with labor legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures that support HR governance.

Culture and Employee Engagement

  • Help build a workplace culture that is positive, inclusive, and performance-driven.
  • Create and execute engagement programs that improve morale and productivity.
  • Use surveys and feedback conversations to measure and strengthen employee satisfaction.

Talent Acquisition and Retention

  • Support recruitment and selection activities to help attract high-quality talent.
  • Contribute to retention initiatives aimed at reducing turnover and keeping key people.
  • Assist with onboarding programs so new hires settle in effectively.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. A master’s degree or HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or IHRP is preferred. The role calls for at least 5 years of HR experience.
