Role Overview
This field sales role is based in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, and falls under Sales & Marketing. The position focuses on driving territorial sales performance, strengthening dealer relationships, supporting contractor engagement, and ensuring smooth coordination across stakeholders to meet business goals.
Business Goals
- Create and execute a monthly territory plan aligned to assigned business targets and work consistently toward target achievement.
- Support dealers in meeting their sales objectives through regular visits, communication of schemes, and timely supply coordination.
- Track the movement of core products as well as new and priority products, ensuring healthy growth across the portfolio.
Market Development and Intelligence
- Identify and onboard new dealer outlets to widen the territory’s long-term sales potential.
- Review territory data to spot gaps and initiate corrective actions or growth opportunities.
- Drive expansion and value improvement within the existing dealer network.
- Plan promotional activities and product awareness sessions for dealers and contractors.
- Share feedback on market practices, competitor offerings, and field inputs to support scheme planning.
Dealer Management
- Respond to dealer concerns promptly to maintain strong and productive business relationships.
- Help dealers support their contractors and end customers with complaints or queries.
- Ensure material, service, and promotional support reaches dealers by coordinating with relevant internal teams.
Collections
- Drive dealer collections in line with defined benchmarks.
- Keep a close watch on outstanding receivables and take steps to reduce delays and overdue amounts.
Contractor Management
- Enroll contractors, update points, and extend program benefits through dealers under the established loyalty structure.
- Organize product awareness meetings for contractors during new product introductions.
Complaint Resolution
- Investigate and close dealer-level and customer-level complaints within the required timelines.
Reporting and Coordination
- Work with other functions such as project sales and services for lead sharing and issue resolution when needed.
- Submit routine field reports, including daily visit updates and the monthly territory report.
Education Requirement
An MBA is preferred, though candidates who are graduates are also eligible.
