Role overview
Voyages Tourism Australia is hiring an experienced Executive Housekeeper to work and live onsite at Yulara in the Northern Territory, about a 20-minute drive from Uluru. This is a full-time opportunity within Ayers Rock Resort for someone who can lead housekeeping operations in a high-profile resort environment.
The position calls for a professional with strong communication and conflict-resolution ability, along with a solid grasp of business operations. The main objective is to keep the hotel’s accommodation and public spaces clean, well maintained, and aligned with company standards while delivering timely, high-quality service within budget.
Key duties
- Lead the Housekeeping and Public Area teams so daily staffing needs and budget targets are met through effective task allocation.
- Make sure guest rooms and shared facilities are presented to a consistently high standard.
- Monitor daily costs closely, reduce unnecessary spend, and support profitability through strong productivity.
- Coordinate routine maintenance and upkeep activities such as spring cleaning, mattress rotation, and carpet shampooing.

This role is part of a close-knit team made up of people from many different backgrounds and cultures, all working toward the shared goal of delivering excellent guest service at the resort.
