About the Role
The company is looking for a highly organized and proactive Business Development Associate / Executive Support professional based in Los Angeles. This position blends executive assistance with light business development and creative coordination work. You will support the CEO with day-to-day priorities, communication management, and special projects, while also contributing to early-stage growth efforts. The job involves helping streamline operations, coordinating meetings and events, managing important correspondence, and assisting the business development team with research, outreach, lead tracking, and client-facing materials. This opportunity suits someone who is detail-oriented, strategically minded, comfortable in a fast-moving environment, and eager to work closely with senior leadership in the gaming space. Regular on-site presence at the CEO’s Los Angeles office is required, along with attendance at meetings and industry events as needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the CEO’s calendar, inbox, and daily schedule so priorities are handled efficiently.
- Build meeting agendas, prepare briefing notes, and create short follow-up summaries.
- Arrange travel, event coordination, and conference-related logistics.
- Serve as a protective layer for the CEO’s time while making sure urgent matters are addressed quickly.
- Write, refine, and review outgoing messages and other external communication on the CEO’s behalf.
- Help plan and run company events such as Wonder Womxn, Devoted Speakeasy, mixers, and podcasts.
- Research prospective clients, especially game developers and publishers in North America and Europe.
- Keep CRM records current, including outreach notes and contact details.
- Assist with cold email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, and meeting coordination.
- Update pitch decks and business development documents as needed.
- Support conference preparation, prospect tracking, and lead transfer to the BD team.
- Track market trends, relevant events, and networking opportunities that may support growth.
- Provide occasional personal assistance to the CEO for logistical or similar needs.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in executive support, operations, or project coordination, ideally in creative, technology, or gaming environments.
- Strong skills in organization, scheduling, communication, and time management.
- Sound business judgment and the ability to contribute to research and outreach for business development.
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn, CRM platforms, and productivity tools such as Google Workspace, Notion, and Asana.
- High integrity, good discretion, and the ability to manage confidential information responsibly.
- Self-starter who is confident, outgoing, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Comfort working across several priorities in a busy, fast-paced setting.
- Interest in or familiarity with video games, outsourcing, or creative production is an advantage.
