Role Overview
This position is for a Databricks Administrator based in Pune. The role centers on supporting and maintaining Databricks environments and cloud-based data platform operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage Databricks workspaces and handle cluster operations to keep the platform running efficiently.
- Support Databricks administration activities across cloud data platform environments.
- Apply knowledge of Apache Spark architecture to assist with tuning and performance improvement.
- Work across cloud ecosystems such as Azure Databricks, AWS, or GCP.
- Use Linux/Unix environments along with Shell or Python scripting for administrative and support tasks.
- Administer users, permissions, and access controls using IAM and RBAC concepts.
- Understand network-related components such as VPCs, VPNs, and private endpoints.
- Investigate platform, system, and performance issues and drive issue resolution.
Experience Required
The role expects 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Databricks administration or cloud data platform support.
Eligibility
Applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E. in any specialization, a B.C.A. in any specialization, or a B.Sc. in any specialization.
