What you'll do

• Review transaction and invoice records to uncover unusual trends, mismatches, and signs of possible fraudulent behavior.
• Look into records that have been flagged by researching the issue, checking supporting information, and documenting the outcome in a structured way.
• Use Microsoft Excel and comparable analytical techniques to organize, match, and interpret large financial data sets.
• Work with internal partners to share observations, explain risk areas, and assist with fraud prevention and resolution decisions.
• Examine invoice variances and exception items to identify the underlying cause and suggest next steps.
• Keep accurate tracking of case progress, analytical findings, and emerging fraud trends for continued monitoring.
• Contribute to anti-fraud efforts by improving review workflows and strengthening the quality of investigative insights.

What we're looking for

• Background in data analysis within a financial services, risk, compliance, or fraud-related setting.
• Practical understanding of fraud analytics, investigation methods, and anti-fraud controls.
• Strong research skills with the ability to assess evidence and spot meaningful data patterns.
• Solid Microsoft Excel skills, including functions used for sorting, reconciling, and analyzing data.
• Exposure to invoice discrepancies, billing issues, or transaction-level exception reviews.
• High attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information carefully and professionally.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings and working with cross-functional teams.
