Role overview
The Contracts Engineer will support the OV organization by providing expert guidance, practical support, and informed advice on contractual and commercial matters. The role focuses on managing the OV Manpower Call-Off Contract, along with any new tendering or contract-related assignments, from the initial scope definition stage through to final contract closure.
Experience and expertise
This position calls for a seasoned professional with extensive multidisciplinary exposure. The ideal candidate should bring 15 years of experience overall, including at least 10 years within the oil and gas sector or in major industrial environments. A strong background in preparing, evaluating, and negotiating large, complex, and diverse tenders and contracts is essential.
Education
A Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline or in Quantity Surveying is required. A postgraduate qualification in Contract Management or Project Management would be an added advantage.
