Role Overview

Raffles The Red Sea in Umluj, Saudi Arabia is hiring a hospitality-driven Bartender to join its resort team. The role focuses on preparing high-quality non-alcoholic beverages, delivering polished guest service, and helping create a memorable bar experience in a luxury setting. You will serve as a visible ambassador for the outlet through professionalism, product knowledge, and an engaging guest-facing style.

Key Duties

• Create and serve a wide range of non-alcoholic drinks in line with established recipes and individual guest preferences.
• Keep the bar area tidy, orderly, and fully supplied, while ensuring glassware and equipment are properly cared for.
• Offer informed guidance on beverages and menu items to support a better guest experience.
• Handle sales transactions correctly through the POS system, including cash and card payments.
• Track bar stock, place supply requests when needed, and help reduce wastage.
• Follow all hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards consistently.
• Work closely with both front-of-house and kitchen teams to keep service running smoothly.
• Interact with guests in a warm, professional way to encourage satisfaction and return visits.
• Stay calm and efficient during busy service periods.
• Represent the Raffles brand in line with company procedures and service expectations.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience in a luxury hotel, upscale resort, or similar premium hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of mocktail preparation and non-alcoholic beverage service standards.
• Comfort using POS systems and bar management tools.
• Good understanding of non-alcoholic drinks and beverage presentation.
• Solid cash-handling and inventory control skills.
• Excellent guest service and interpersonal abilities, with confidence in dealing with varied clientele.
• Physical capability to remain standing for long periods and operate in a busy environment.
• Careful attention to cleanliness, detail, and presentation standards.
• Awareness of health and safety practices.
• Strong English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
• Preference for candidates familiar with Saudi Arabian culture and hospitality norms.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Team-oriented attitude and readiness to support coworkers when needed.
