Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to provide L2/L3 support for our production and non-production environments. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving application issues within service level agreements (SLAs), with a focus on database management (Oracle/MySQL) and API integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver L2/L3 application support for both production and non-production environments.
- Monitor systems, troubleshoot, and resolve application problems within established SLAs.
- Address and resolve database-related issues using Oracle and MySQL.
- Analyze application logs to identify root causes and collaborate with development teams for fixes.
- Support and maintain integrations via RESTful Web APIs.
- Assist in troubleshooting backend services built with Node JS and frontend applications developed with React.
- Conduct data validation, perform data corrections, and analyze database performance.
- Coordinate application deployments, releases, and other production support tasks.
- Develop and maintain support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate effectively with business users, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure application stability and availability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Solid practical experience with Oracle Database and MySQL.
- Proficiency in crafting and optimizing SQL queries, developing stored procedures, and troubleshooting database issues.
- A good grasp of application support methodologies and incident management procedures.
- Familiarity with RESTful Web APIs, including testing and troubleshooting.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of React.js applications.
- Experience in log analysis, debugging, and performance monitoring tools.

This is a full-time, onsite position located in Guwahati, India.
