Job description
Role Overview
This position involves managing accounting operations with a focus on implementing and configuring accounting software such as Tally and Odoo. The candidate will work alongside senior functional consultants to understand client-specific accounting and business workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior consultants to comprehensively understand client accounting and business processes.
- Configure master data, workflows, and settings in Tally and Odoo for modules including Accounting, Sales, Purchase, and Inventory.
- Analyze and map current accounting practices based on Tally to Odoo standard processes, pinpointing configuration discrepancies.
- Prepare, cleanse, and validate master data, opening balances, and data import templates to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct functional tests, assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and verify correct transaction and accounting results.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and user guides; support end-user training and live system deployment.
- Document required customizations clearly when existing Tally or Odoo configurations do not meet client needs.
