Role overview
This part-time sales internship is based onsite and is intended for someone who can support both inside sales and field sales work. The role involves reaching out to potential customers, building relationships, and helping move prospects through the sales process.
Key responsibilities
- Find and develop leads through calls, email outreach, field visits, networking efforts, and digital platforms, then qualify them and keep the sales funnel active.
- Engage with students, parents, schools, coaching centers, and other relevant stakeholders to learn about their needs and suggest suitable products and services.
- Carry out field-selling work such as client meetings, school visits, educational events, seminars, and partner interactions to create opportunities and improve market presence.
- Follow up regularly with interested prospects by phone, email, messages, and in-person meetings to progress them through the buying journey and improve conversion rates.
- Respond to customer questions, concerns, and objections in a professional way that supports trust-building and successful closures.
- Keep lead details, customer interactions, pipeline updates, and sales records accurate in CRM tools or spreadsheets.
- Work toward daily, weekly, and monthly targets across both inside and field sales activities.
- Coordinate with marketing, operations, and customer support teams for lead transfer, order handling, onboarding, and issue resolution.
- Represent the organization professionally at field visits, fairs, workshops, exhibitions, and business meetings to increase brand visibility and generate opportunities.
- Use telesales and field-sales methods, market understanding, and prior sales exposure to strengthen conversion performance and customer engagement.
- Share insights on market trends, competitor actions, customer needs, and growth opportunities to help guide business expansion.
