Your mission

In this role, you won’t just manage procurement—you will help shape and scale it. As Team Lead Procurement, you will lead the purchasing team and play an active role in introducing a new SAP-based ERP system. The company is expanding quickly, with more than 10,000 vehicles, around 100 stations, and operations in 15 countries. To support that growth, procurement needs solid processes, dependable supplier relationships, and a system foundation that can support the full operation.

Your focus will be on professionalizing procurement, setting up an internal spare-parts supply chain for the stations, and making sure purchasing processes are correctly designed in the new ERP from the outset.

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and coach the procurement team while building a structure that encourages independent ownership.
• Act as the main procurement contact for the ongoing SAP rollout, including requirements gathering, process design for purchase-to-pay, testing, data migration, and go-live support.
• Improve the internal spare-parts supply chain for the stations, covering assortment planning, suppliers, storage, minimum stock levels, distribution logic, and support for maintenance and repair teams on site.
• Create and standardize procurement processes, policies, and approval workflows, then integrate them into the new system.
• Own supplier selection, evaluation, and further development, including contract and commercial term management.
• Negotiate strategically important categories and deliver measurable savings.
• Work closely with Finance, Fleet, Operations, Legal, and IT and represent procurement in cross-functional projects.
• Drive the use of AI and automation in purchasing, such as n8n-based workflows and AI-assisted analysis, to make processes more efficient and reduce routine work for the team.
• Build procurement KPIs and manage the function using data such as savings, delivery reliability, and process lead times.

What you need

You should bring solid experience in strategic or operational procurement, including proven leadership of a team. Strong German and English language skills are required. Practical experience with SAP, for example MM or Ariba, or proven experience in implementing an ERP system is important; having both is ideal.

A strong understanding of end-to-end purchase-to-pay processes and the ability to standardize and digitize them is essential. Experience in building or running a supply chain or spare-parts/material supply setup, including assortment, warehousing, stock control, and distribution, would be a strong advantage. You should also be confident in negotiations, supplier relationship management, and cost-conscious decision-making.

The role calls for a structured and analytical way of working, comfort with data and KPIs, a hands-on mindset, and the drive to build in a fast-growing environment rather than only maintaining existing structures. A strong interest in AI and automation, along with motivation to improve purchasing workflows using modern tools such as n8n and AI assistants, is also valued.

Compensation

The annual gross salary for this position can be up to EUR 65,000.
