Role Overview
This part-time remote position is focused on finding, screening, and nurturing potential buyers for the organization’s products and services. The SDR will play an early-stage sales role, helping create a healthy pipeline by reaching out to prospects, handling incoming inquiries, and moving qualified leads toward the next step in the sales process.
What You Will Do
- Research priority markets and identify prospects that fit the company’s target profile.
- Reach out to leads through phone calls, emails, and other digital touchpoints to start conversations.
- Respond to inbound interest and assess whether the opportunity is worth pursuing.
- Run initial discovery discussions and arrange demos or meetings for the sales team.
- Keep CRM records up to date and maintain clean notes on prospect activity.
- Prepare simple sales summaries and reports as needed.
- Work closely with business development and marketing teams to improve outreach efforts.
- Follow up consistently and communicate clearly to advance qualified leads through the early sales funnel.
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience or strong capability in inside sales and lead generation.
- Good communication skills, both spoken and written, along with active listening.
- Ability to lead discovery conversations and support lead conversion.
- Understanding of business development principles and relationship building.
- Comfort using CRM platforms, performing basic data entry, and handling simple reporting.
- Ease working with remote collaboration tools and independent work routines.
- Self-driven attitude, strong time management, and focus on targets.
- Background in B2B sales or the electrical/electronic manufacturing space is a plus.
- A diploma or degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a similar field is preferred, though practical experience may also be considered.
