Job Overview

Egis is looking for an experienced Risk Manager to join its consulting team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on spotting, assessing, and reducing organisational risks across a range of client assignments. You will work closely with senior consultants and clients to build risk management approaches that support business goals and meet regulatory obligations. The right candidate will bring strong analytical judgement, great attention to detail, and the ability to explain complex risk matters clearly to different stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed risk reviews and assessments for client organisations across different areas.
• Create and roll out risk reduction strategies and action plans aligned with client requirements and business goals.
• Identify, record, and rank risks using recognised risk management methods and frameworks.
• Study risk information and patterns to produce practical insights and recommendations for clients and internal teams.
• Prepare thorough risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leaders and board-level audiences.
• Maintain compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards tied to risk management.
• Work with teams across functions to weave risk management into core business processes and decision-making.
• Track and assess how effective the implemented mitigation actions are.
• Keep up to date with new risks, regulatory updates, and evolving risk management practices.
• Assist with building business continuity and disaster recovery plans for clients.
• Guide junior consultants and help improve risk management methods and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, risk management, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 15 years of experience in risk management, ideally in construction or real estate.
• Professional certifications like PRM or ARM are preferred.
• Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian codes and safety standards.
• At least 5 years of professional risk management experience, preferably in a consulting setting.
• Solid expertise in risk assessment, analysis, and mitigation planning.
• Good working knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 31000, COSO, or similar approaches.
• Advanced data analysis and interpretation skills, including strong Excel ability.
• Experience using risk management software and data visualisation tools.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear way.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Proven ability to solve problems and think analytically.
• Awareness of compliance requirements and sector-specific risk environments.
• Experience working with varied stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Preferred: background in enterprise risk management (ERM) or consulting.
• Preferred: familiarity with business continuity planning and disaster recovery frameworks.
• Preferred: professional certifications such as FRM, CRM, or similar credentials.
