Opportunity overview
This role is a flexible, project-based contract opportunity for seasoned retail operations professionals. The work supports AI research by using practical, on-the-ground retail knowledge to assess AI-generated content and improve how AI understands everyday store, inventory, and warehouse processes.
It is designed to fit around your current work and does not follow a traditional full-time employment structure.
Key work areas
- Develop expert-level training questions and scenario-based prompts rooted in authentic retail operations workflows.
- Assess AI-written answers for factual accuracy and how well they reflect real store operations and inventory management practices.
- Write clear, structured feedback that helps refine model outputs and improve performance.
- Work at a self-directed pace with no fixed schedule or minimum hourly commitment.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional experience in retail operations management, ideally in a position such as Retail Operations Manager or Director.
- Practical familiarity with tasks including store performance reporting, cash and inventory reconciliation, and warehouse receiving.
- Strong writing ability and a sharp eye for detail.
- Comfort working independently in a remote, asynchronous setting.
