About the role
This position is an individual contributor role within the Human Resources function, based in Bangalore. It focuses on supporting complete payroll operations for Singapore and the APAC region in a shared services setup. The role requires adherence to standard operating procedures, company rules, and service level commitments while using Workday and ServiceNow to support payroll and HR processes.

Key responsibilities
- Handle payroll inputs and contribute to accurate, timely end-to-end payroll execution.
- Check payroll-related details such as attendance, leave, reimbursements, deductions, and statutory elements.
- Respond to and resolve payroll queries from employees within agreed service timelines.
- Ensure payroll processing follows company policies, labor laws, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Keep employee payroll information current and correctly maintained in HR and payroll platforms.
- Work with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers to support seamless payroll operations.
- Assist with payroll aspects of employee lifecycle events, including joining, transfers, promotions, and final settlements.
- Review and reconcile payroll reports while maintaining data accuracy and compliance.
- Protect sensitive employee data with a high level of discretion and integrity.
What you need
- 5 to 8 years of experience in payroll operations, HR shared services, or payroll administration, with Singapore or APAC exposure preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll tools such as Workday and ServiceNow.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical thinking, issue-solving ability, and organizational discipline.
- Clear communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, deadline-oriented environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- A collaborative mindset and a positive approach to teamwork.
