Role overview

The MES Engineer will support the Manufacturing Execution System in a production environment. The role covers change management, issue resolution, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on compliance, safe operations, and meeting customer and production requirements. You will act as a technical resource for the operations team on daily production activity and project work, and experience helping to build projects or sites from the ground up would be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for the MES platform and guide operations teams on its use.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, and Quality to provide smooth MES support during working hours.
• Work alongside operations teams to meet departmental goals, schedules, and activity timelines.
• Follow all applicable policies and procedures, and help create work instructions and operating procedures that support compliance.
• Train, coach, and support operations staff in MES usage and basic troubleshooting.
• Carry out work in a way that protects human health, safety, and the environment.
• Support validation activities for new processes through MES-related work.
• Comply with corporate and divisional policies and complete other tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications and experience

A relevant technical diploma is required, along with 3 years of experience in a related environment.
