Role overview

Japan Foods Holding Ltd is hiring a Management Associate to support restaurant and outlet operations in Singapore. This role is centered on hands-on learning and operational support, with the goal of developing into a capable restaurant operations professional.

What you will do

• Partner with the Outlet Manager to oversee food and beverage operations as well as the outlet’s daily workflow.
• Absorb operating methods, procedures, and service standards from the Outlet Manager and Chef as part of your training.
• Deliver efficient guest service and handle customer special requests in a professional manner.
• Keep the outlet clean and make sure hygiene requirements are consistently maintained according to company standards.
• Build the capability to manage restaurant operations with increasing independence over time.
• Understand food preparation processes and monitor kitchen inventory levels.
• After completing the basic training program, work with management to set new development goals and progression targets.
• Take on other duties assigned by management whenever needed.
• Ensure team members comply with the company’s safety SOPs.
• Adhere to all company safety standard operating procedures.

What we are looking for

• Minimum qualification of GCE O-Level, Diploma, or Degree.
• Comfortable working split shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Previous experience in food and beverage operations is an advantage, though not mandatory.
• Warm, energetic, and pleasant personality with a strong sense of teamwork.
• Genuine interest in the service industry and a willingness to learn.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and stay effective in a busy, fast-moving environment.
• Must hold a WSQ Food & Hygiene Certificate.

This position is based in Central Singapore Community Development Council, Singapore. The role is full-time and on-site.
